Hybrid Cross
Documentation File
Bruce M. Terry Jr.
May 31, 1988
If you have ever had a biology class, you've probably
had to do genetic crosses. For example:
Parent one genotype = Aa
Parent two genotype = Aa
Parent one(Aa) X Parent two(Aa)
│ A │ a
──┼───────┼────────
A│ AA │ Aa
──┼───────┼────────
a│ Aa │ aa
│ │
This is just a simple monohybrid cross. Even this can
get tedious. But, even worse are the di, tri, and tetra-
hybrid crosses.
This program will compute the genotypic possibilities
of parents with anywhere from 1 to 9 traits taken into
consideration(easily altered in source code) and does it
much faster than drawing out the little squares and doing
it by hand.
Suggestions can be sent to the following address:

I will also make the Mircosoft QuickC source code
available to those interested. If your thinking of sending
a small monetary donation for use of this program, you're
out of your head.
